East Berkshire Golf Club held their annual charity fundraising day earlier in July 2022, with lots of competitions and social events.
This year, the Club Captain (Heather Amor) and Ladies Captain (Amanda Bancroft) are supporting COATS which is a local charity in Crowthorne, setup in 1966. COATS provides a Centre to meet and socialise for the local Senior community. The Centre provides companionship, healthy lunches, teas, stimulating activities, entertainment, and services for older people in the local community in addition to providing respite for their carers. Their main source of income is the Charity Shop in Crowthorne High Street, but they also rely on donations.
East Berkshire Golf Club have been supporting Local and National Charities for over 30 years and all the donations will go directly to them.
