Neil Igglesden DipPFS

Managing Director

Specialist Area:
Pensions, Life Cover, Investment

Biog:
I joined Radcliffe’s in 1993 and was promoted to Sales Director in 2004, running the adviser team until 2010. I then became Managing Director and have been in this role since. My first job when I left school was to train as a Navigating Officer for Mobil Shipping, but due to the world wide recession in 1982 was made redundant. I then trained as an Inspector for Scottish Provident and subsequently moved to the other side and joined a Financial adviser firm in Eastleigh until I joined here.

About Me:
I enjoy most sports but at my age it’s now more watching rather than participating. I play golf, ski and enjoy travel and food.

Little Known Fact:
In 1987 along with two friends, we took turns to water ski around the Isle of Wight to raise funds for a cancer charity. The total we achieved was £5,000 and this took around 4 hours on an early August morning.

Darren Fulford DipPFS

Finance Director

Specialist Areas:
IT, Compliance, Accounts, Finance, Company Secretary

Biog:
I joined Radcliffes in 1988. I have seen the business go through many changes and have helped it to grow. I previously worked for Legal & General.

About Me:
I love being out on the water. I have spent many years sailing around the Solent with friends and colleagues. I bought a motor boat 5 years ago. I also enjoy walking and cycling and also have a passion for renovation which is pretty handy as I own a property that dates back to 1711.

Recently:
I have joined acquaintances and friends on many fund raising events. We have cycled and run and raised substantial amounts for very worthy local charities such as the Rose Road Association. Late last year I joined a close friend and my son to jump out of a plane at 14,000 feet – again in aid of a worthy local charity – PLANETS. (Not so sure I will do that again but a great experience and a lot of money raised!)

Chris Selfe BA Hons DipPFS

Independent Financial Adviser / Business Development Manager

Specialist Areas:
Investment, Pensions & Inheritance Tax.

Career:

I am proud to have worked as a financial adviser since leaving university in 1991. I initially worked in London, before moving back to the south coast with Friends Provident. Having worked at Friends Provident for a number of years, my manager moved to a national IFA and subsequently asked me and my colleague Chris Headford to join him. Chris and I were soon head hunted by a smaller Winchester based IFA, which was bought by Radcliffe & Co in 2002. Just over a year ago we were both appointed to the management team, with my responsibility being business development. I also continue to look after my clients, the vast majority of whom were referred to me. In some cases I have seen my advice help four generations of the same family.

About Me:

I have two young daughters who keep me busy and a teenage son. I am an adrenaline junkie and car fanatic. In my spare time I enjoy rally driving, mountain biking, skiing and organising car events. I am also very happy working in the garden – whether I have a dibber or a chainsaw to hand!
