Radcliffe Bake Off 2017!

Radcliffe’s very own “Bake Off” guru Caroline held the company’s annual “Bake Off” competition to raise money for local charities this festive season. Three ‘Signature’ heats were held with 9 Radcliffe hopefuls baking delicious cakes in their own time which were then judged on presentation and taste. Rose Road Charity Update

On 24th September, supporters of the Rose Road Association took on a Triathlon challenge to raise funds for the Hampshire based charity. Teams from Grant Thornton, EY, Wilkins Kennedy and Copyrite took part in the latest Rose Road challenge event. A very big and overdue congratulations to our very own Alice Tai on her tremendous performance at the Rio Paralympics. She managed to clinch Bronze in the Women's 100m Backstroke S10, and a fantastic Gold in the Women's 4x100m Medley Relay - 34 points. Paralympic Athlete – Alice Tai

We are delighted to announce that Radcliffe sponsored paralympic sensation Alice Tai has managed to secure herself a seat on the plane to Rio with some outstanding performance over the past coming months, to ensure she goes off to Brazil with big aspirations of making it onto the podium and bringing home some silverware. Wessex Cancer Trust & Bruce Elkins

Well-known fundraiser and accountant from top 20 firm, Wilkins Kennedy’s Southampton office, has handed over a £20,000 cheque to the Wessex Cancer Trust following a marathon of sporting challenges. Bruce Elkins concluded his 25 years of fundraising on 11th October with a 25 mile walk, the final of many challenges for 2015, including swimming 25 miles, running 250 miles and cycling 2500 miles to raise £25,000. Alice Tai Shines in Glasgow

For those of you following Alice's journey we're pleased to announce she has done exceptionally well at her debut Championship appearance at the IPC World Championships in Glasgow, collecting Bronze in the 4 x 100m 34-point freestyle relay along with Bronze in the S10 100m. Massive congratulations to Alice who has worked extremely hard to achieve some amazing results at just 16 years old, and we look forward to many more medals in the coming years. It's been a while since we've heard from Paralympic sensation Alice, so here's what she's been up to in the past few months, and what lies ahead in the near future from her mother Angie: "Life has been chaotic to say the least! She finished her last exam on Friday 19th June (10 GCSEs in total and did not miss one single training session) and on Sunday 21st June we packed her belongings into the boot of the car and drove 280 miles to Manchester to deposit her with a new host family.
