We understand that many of you will be concerned by the dramatic movements in the markets and hope that by collating articles and updates from the investment firms we work alongside, we will be able to keep you better informed and reassured.

Firstly, please let me start by reassuring you about the steps that Radcliffe & Co are taking to enable us to maintain our service to you during the current coronavirus outbreak. Our priority is the health and wellbeing of both our clients and staff and procedures are being introduced to protect this, whilst aiming to minimise any disruption to the service.

The nature of our service will have to be adapted to the changing environment however, Radcliffe & Co are determined to continue to provide a comprehensive and professional service to our clients throughout this period.

Many of you will be concerned about the financial effects that this pandemic is having with your investment portfolios and will want to speak to your personal adviser for reassurances. At Radcliffe & Co, our teams are able to work remotely and many are used to working this way meaning therefore, in the event of having to self-isolate, your adviser and/or administration support will be able to continue working from home. We have protocols in place for your matter to be passed to another team member in the event that your key contact becomes ill and is unable to work.

We are encouraging clients and contacts to communicate electronically with us; this will help reduce reliance on physical post and avoid potential processing and delivery delays by postal and courier services. We are also happy to arrange documentation to be distributed electronically where necessary. We have recommended that advisers reduce travel and face-to-face meetings and are encouraging meetings to be conducted via online conferencing services. Radcliffe & Co have a range of technologies available to us in order to interact with our clients remotely, which will enable us to continue to deliver our service in a confidential and secure environment.

In the worst case scenario, we can continue to operate even if the Government orders all work premises to stay shut for an extended period of time. Please be assured that we are keeping business as close to usual as possible. We continue to monitor the coronavirus situation and will stay in touch with developments as they occur.
