”“We have been impressed with Radcliffes, since joining them we have not looked back. The quality of the service given has considerably exceeded that provided by our previous financial advisers and we have confidence that our needs are being considered in a full understanding of our personal circumstances. Their service has been comprehensive and we have never felt that there have been aspects with which we would not seek their advice.”
CAPTAIN KEN
Radcliffe & Co have specialised in advising flight crew employees with regard to their pension arrangements since 2004. We look after a large number of captains and co-pilots, with an increasing number of cabin crew and ground staff too. During the last 15 years our specialist Airways Team at Radcliffe & Co has developed an in-depth understanding of an increasing number of pension schemes within the aviation industry, including BA, TUI, CAA and Cobham along with the various options available to the members of these schemes. Our advisers are able to offer advice on issues such as pension transfer advice, tapering annual allowance, the reducing lifetime allowance, the impact of an increase in salary, flexible retirement, build-up rates, whether or not to contribute into Smart AVCs and retirement options. Over the last decade we have experienced radical changes in the pensions’ landscape, which have often caused concern and confusion, sometimes leading to unexpected tax charges. It is now more important than ever to take independent financial advice to ensure that the right decisions are made and at the right time.
At the point you are considering accessing your pension benefits our advisers can explain the various retirement options available from your pension schemes. Additionally our advisers can offer advice in respect of alternative independent retirement options which may be appropriate for you. Our aim is to provide you with detailed information and analysis to help you to make an informed decision which is right for you.
Our advisers offer personal face to face meetings, the advice is independent (whole of market) and, along with specific advice in respect of your Pension, our advisers can provide holistic financial planning advice on any aspect of your financial arrangements such as inheritance tax planning, savings and investments, life assurance and mortgages.
Meetings can be arranged to fit in with your flight roster and other commitments and can be held at our offices in Southampton and Winchester or at Heathrow or Gatwick. We look after clients throughout the UK and Ireland and are also happy to travel to your home address.
Any financial advice that we give will be based upon your individual circumstances and objectives.
Please note that the services provided within this website are not provided in conjunction with any airline and are provided through Radcliffe & Co which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The Aviation Team:
Six members of Radcliffe & Co specialise in advising those within the aviation sector and meet formally on a monthly basis. The purpose of these meetings is to share best practice , to discuss ongoing changes within the relevant pension schemes, as well as changes in the financial services landscape which could impact our potential and existing clients. We regularly share scheme information to ensure that we are up to date and that our approach and advice remains consistent and thorough. We also use this time to organise our annual events as well as our Airways Update publication. The outcome of these meetings is shared with the wider advisory team and administration staff, so we are all well equipped to support our clients.
